We provide web design, development, SEO and maintenance services for local service businesses. The specific scope, deliverables and pricing for any project are set out in a written proposal or agreement between us.
Quotes and Payment
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Payment terms are set out in your proposal. Projects typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due at launch.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, ownership of the finished website design and content passes to you. We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide timely content, feedback and approvals. Delays in content or feedback may affect project timelines.
Warranties and Limitation of Liability
We warrant that our work will be performed professionally. We do not warrant specific business outcomes such as search rankings or sales. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected project.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party tools (hosting, analytics, email). We are not responsible for outages or issues originating from those providers.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project in writing. Fees for work completed up to termination remain payable.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Shimworx is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
